History

Nitto was founded in 1923 in Tokyo, Japan and is a Japanese manufacturer of bicycle components such as handlebars, stems, and seat posts. For some time now, Nitto has also been manufacturing other bicycle components such as bicycle racks. Various Nitto components are certified for track cycling races, and the company was one of the first to outfit the Japanese Keirin races.

Description

The M18 is a chromoly steel front carrier and is will fit on most forks, dependent only on a crown drilled for brakes. The rack fastens onto the fork legs with interchangeable rubber lined steel bands - there are two different sizes in the pack - to accommodate a variety of fork diameters. The mounting that fits on the crown is formed to fit behind the brake caliper. 

This rack is designed for light loads, or to support a handlebar bag.

Hand-brazed from Chromoly

Mounts to most bikes with drilled fork crown and incorporates with the caliper brake

Compatible with some forks that feature mid-blade braze-ons dependent upon braze-on position

Comes with additional set of braze-ons.
